Spanish National Health Survey

The Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality invites the organizations, institutions and researchers to use the information stored in the Spanish National Health Survey as a material for the development of their researches and studies.

Since 1997, the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality has been making periodically the Spanish National Health Survey with interviews. During the last five submissions of the period 1987-2001 the organization in charge of the field work was the Sociological Research Centre – CIS in Spanish; since the 2003 edition the institution in charge is the National Statistics Institute – INE in Spanish.

For the years of the period 1987 – 2001, in the section “METADATOS” the technical documents needed for being able to work with the microdata are offered. For the years 2003 and 2006 the technical documents are included inside each one of their respective “zip” files.
