Electronic Prescription of the National Health System (RESNS)
The medical prescription is the standardized document through which legally authorized professionals prescribe medicinal products or medical devices to the patient for dispensation.
The electronic medical prescription is a modality of digital service to support medical care that allows physicians to issue and transmit prescriptions by electronic means, based on information and communication technologies, which can subsequently be dispensed. The interoperable electronic prescription service of the National Health System (RESNS) allows the dispensing from any pharmacy, by electronic means, of the medicinal product prescribed in another autonomous region. It is only necessary to present the individual health card.
